I still recommend it though if you can handle the issues I brought forward. So this may just be a very buggy game in general. So all in all this is a very good game that's bogged down by its poor technical state on Switch though I heard some of these problems like ridiculous loading or crashes even carry over to other platforms as well. It doesn't happen too often but when it does it really sucks. Sometimes you loose several minutes of progress and have to go through several loading screens to get to where you were before. It's not game breaking but annoying when your character just wanders off in the opposite direction of where you wanted him to go before you course correct and he actually performs the intended action. I don't know if it's pathfinding issues but sometimes you need to repeat inputs in order for the character to actually do the right thing. The controls don't always do what you want them to do. Wish they had found a less intrusive solution. However there are times where you go through several long load screens in quick succession and that stuff really adds up. The loading is not great but OK in isolation. But what genuinely bothers me are the load times, the buggy controls and occasional crashes. I don't mind that the Switch version has regular framedrops because I honestly don't think it matters for this type of game. The technical side of things is a lot rougher though. A fantastic combination of RPG and murder mystery game as long as you are OK with lots of dialoge. This one is hard to judge because the game itself is legitimately a 9/10 or even 10/10. Second, the Switch version was released poorly, I think it was fixed later but it used to take me like upwards of a minute to load new areas. First, it is difficult to move around the map. If this is not a 10/10 for me, there are a few reasons. Same for the Insulindian phasmid, who turned out to be a total bro. The dialogue with Harry's ex-girlfriend was memorable. The ending was good too - it was unexpected and random, but also very sad (to emphatize with the killer), they want for an existentialist ending I guess. The music was similarly great, I sometimes put it on background when I work. Really loved the skills system, and how you can get in dialogue with your empathy or authority skills - basically thinking and inner monologue but reflected in gameplay, which is genius to me. The corporate boat lady, the crazy tie, the electro music fans, Klaasje, the poetic lorry driver, the custom dice maker, the union boss and the goons - a lot of strong and memorable characters. I related with Harry du Bois very strongly. The writing and the dialogue are fantastic. This is a piece of media totally unlike any I have experienced.
